Introducing The Creatives On Call Mentorship Program!

Mentorship is something we are very passionate about here at Creatives On Call. It is our mission to help creatives thrive while they strive, and part of that is to provide tools for growth and guidance. Which is why we are thrilled to present our newest initiative--the Creatives On Call Mentorship Program!

What exactly is the Mentorship Program?

For over 25 years, Creatives On Call has sought out to create a community like no other. We have cultivated a network of unique and talented individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds. The Mentorship Program is all of this history manifested in a valuable program to help our creative community flourish! You can sign up to be a Mentor or Mentee and be paired by a Creatives On Call representative to begin your mentorship journey.

Why did Recruiter Brianne Creamer start the Mentorship Program?

I have been working at Creatives On Call for over four years, and in that time I have become a mentor to several young designers. Even though my day job is a Recruiter and I help guide any and all creative professionals, my passion and education background is in graphic design. Throughout my career, I have worked with hundreds of brands from multiple industries including nonprofits and Fortune 500s. I have personally climbed the ladder to Sr. Designer and owned my own company. I have a lot of experience that I can share from my previous design positions and my constant interaction with Hiring Managers as a Recruiter with Creatives On Call.

With this experience, I am able to mentor two young professionals at different stages in their careers and offer guidance. I have helped my Mentees find positions, network, and even have provided basic training in the Adobe Creative Cloud. We are in regular communication on how I can guide them to make the best career choices. And I can honestly say I love it! I genuinely love giving back to people who need it. Through this experience, I decided to create the Creatives On Call Mentorship Program!

What can I expect from the Mentorship Program?

When you hear mentorship, do you think of Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter? Obi-Wan and Luke Skywalker? Mr. Miyagi and Daniel? Now, these might be fictional characters, but they do all represent excellent examples of a Mentor/Mentee relationship. A Mentor and Mentee are there to help one another, network, set goals together, and ultimately grow. Think of someone in your life that has been this for you. We might not be able to compete with the relationships that led to defeating Lord Voldemort or Darth Vader, but we can strive for a relationship that leads to a successful career and network!

How do I sign up?
