Remote Work Resource List for Companies

Collaborate with Your Team  

LogMeIn (GoToMeeting): LogMeIn has created Emergency Remote Work Kits for qualifying healthcare providers, educational intuitions, non-profits, and municipalities and current customers. These kits include free access for three months for many of their products. Access includes solutions for video conferencing, virtual events, webinars, and meetings. 

ZohoZoho offers a suite of web and mobile apps for working remotely.  Their Remotely product will remain free until July 1, 2020. Apps included in remotely: Meeting, Assist, Writer, ShowTime, and much more.

CiscoWebexCisco is offering expanded functionality for Webex in all countries it's available. Unlimited storage, up to 100 participant support, and toll dial-in are included. They will also give new customers free 90-day licenses.

Microsoft Teams: Microsoft has made Microsoft Teams available for free for remote working and distance learning in light of COVID-19. Teams can invite everyone they work with and chat, collaborate, meet, and call.

G-Suite: Google announced it is allowing free access to advanced Hangouts Meet and videoconferencing to all G-Suite and G-Suite for education customers. Larger meetings, meeting recording, and larger streaming capabilities, typically only included in the Enterprise edition for G-Suite, will now be available through July 1, 2020. 

3CX3CX is an open standards communication solution for businesses and works with a server or the cloud. 3CX is offering its standard plan for free for three years because of COVID-19.

CafeXCafeX's product Challo is free until July 1, 2020, to help teams stay connected during this time with video, chat, and security features. 

Learn Something New 

Quick MBAsMany universities have accelerated one-year MBA programs that can be completed online for those who are thinking about getting additional education.  

EdXInstead of paying for an expensive MBA, EdX offers free courses from top universities such as Harvard, Boston University, and Berkley. 

LyndaLynda, owned by Linkedin offers a free 30-day trial of their training courses to help people reach their professional goals. Lynda is also available to purchase for businesses. 

LinkedinLearningIn addition to Lynda, Linkedin offers business, technology, certifications, and creative courses for businesses.  

Your local library
Check your local library for free e-books, audiobooks, and learning courses.

UdemyUdemy offers 100,000 courses on just about anything with plans starting at $10.99.

HubSpot AcademyHubSpot has a free online course in marketing and sales, complete with certifications to further professional credentials.

Adobe Summit 2020Many conference events have gone virtual during this time. The Adobe Summit on digital marketing is March 31st and is being offered for free. Listen to the keynotes and 100+ breakout sessions from digital experts. 

AI Training
AI is the new digital frontier. Take some time and learn more about AI from these free courses

Remote Work Podcasts: Podcasts are a great educational tool and you can find one on just about any topic you can think of. Search remote work podcasts for additional resources on remote working. 

For When You Need a Break

Take a Break Please App: This app forces you to take a break and walk away from your computer to go for a walk, get coffee, or stretch! Adjust time between breaks and break durations.

Tone It Up: Tone It Up is offering 30 days of their app FREE for new members.

YouTube Fitness
YouTube has tons of free fitness workouts. Try Yoga with Adrienne or ekhart Yoga (free two-week trial).   

Peloton Digital: Peloton digital has extended a free trial of their app for 90 days. 

Planet Fitness: Planet Fitness is offering free daily live workouts on Facebook at 7pm Est.

Headspace: Take a mental break. Headspace is offering free support. 

Donut: Donut has listed some free digital and remote relationship building games. 

For When You Need Lunch

Are you used to going out for lunch? Companies like DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub are offering waived delivery fees for independent restaurants in some markets and special deals throughout the outbreak.
