Sometimes being a creative isn’t easy. The inspiration doesn’t always freely flow into your imagination, ready to be given out to clients at a moment’s notice. Designers can get into a slump just like anyone else, and a kick-start is needed every once in awhile. Luckily the internet is ready and willing to act as a resource for getting back into the groove when working on projects that require creative inspiration. We’ve compiled a list of some great design sites to help jump-start the artistic process. 

Inspiration Grid – This site is fantastic for browsing a multitude of design inspiration. A huge gallery full of various image categories, you can spend hours taking in everything from typography to photographs and corporate design elements.

Demilked – For creativity, Demilked is hard to beat. It’s not a typical design site crammed with images, but more of an inspiration for the senses. A wide variety of platforms and stories are showcased in this site, so be ready to have your creativity fully juiced.

TypeInspire – Are you in need of font-spiration? This site is a showcase of typography with images used by graphic designers as well as web-based designers. This large gallery of typography pieces can be used as inspiration to come up with your own typeface designs.

LogoSpire – Corporate logos are a big part of a freelance designer’s portfolio, and this site delivers on client and business inspiration. This site differentiates by letting the reader rate different logos as they browse. Taking note of the results can be a good indicator of what logos are popular and trending in today’s business climate.

Handsome Frank – For those wanting to keep up with graphic design trends, Handsome Frank is a valuable resource. This illustration company has done work for clients like Coca-Cola, Volkswagen, and Toyota.

Best Web Gallery – Web design expertise is essential for a creative. Best Web Gallery inspires by showcasing popular and trending web design, and lets you search by rating and rank. These examples will help when trying to perfect your website ideas.

Brand New – As a creative, it can be tricky when defining an identity for your client. Brand New helps by critiquing corporate brand identity work. The information found on this site on corporate design can go a long way to determine the best course of action for a designer.
