Creatives on Call is searching the U.S. for the Chuck Norris of all sales leaders to develop, lead and drive the St. Louis sales engine as our Director of Sales. Position Summary The Director of Sales actively leads the St. Louis sales team by defining, executing and monitoring business growth plans, implementing action plans to successfully hire, ramp and develop associates and ensures a culture which fosters a creative, fun and high performing environment. Market: St. Louis

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities Job Tasks ¬ Actively develop and maintain personal production standards as a producing sales leader ¬ Strategize with Creative on Call’s senior leadership to define required sales strategy to achieve annual growth plans ¬ Build and strengthen the St. Louis sales engine by hiring, ramping and retaining sales associates ¬ Build and maintain a network of potential future team members to support growth forecasts ¬ Provide sales training to ensure associate’s initial productivity and on-going professional development ¬ Facilitate daily whiteboard meetings to maintain awareness of opportunity pipeline and assign activities to improve close ratios ¬ Manage individual sales performance and KPI achievement through one-on-one meetings with team members in order to meet goals by inspiring, engaging and motivating based on individual production levels and support needs ¬ Conduct monthly account reviews with team members and provide sales direction, establish adjusted KPIs and provide coaching based on associate’s unique needs ¬ Optimize and manage sales team through ongoing performance evaluations in order to determine top grading opportunities ¬ Report weekly and monthly sales performance to senior leadership and discuss progress towards enterprise-wide goals ¬ Establish a high-performing, achievement-oriented and fun sales culture ¬ Manage team member’s concerns while maintaining compliance with corporate and legal perspective in order to minimize workforce disruptions and retain committed team members Direct Reports ¬ Yes – size of team dependent upon size of revenue growth Internal Partners ¬ Senior leadership, recruiting, finance and technology division counterparts Travel ¬ Yes – local car travel required; travel to other markets and to attend events requires ability to travel by air and secure a rental car Budget Oversight ¬ None – primary focus is on guiding sales team’s performance Position Type & Expected Work Hours ¬ Fu

Requirements

Competencies Education, Certifications & Experience ¬ Highly motivated, goal oriented over achiever with a bias for action ¬ Organized, self-directed, multi-tasker ¬ Creative problem solver ¬ Natural leader, enjoys developing others ¬ Training ¬ Culture creator ¬ Sales skills such as prospecting, relationship development, negotiating, closing ¬ Outstanding communication and presentation skills ¬ Bachelor’s Degree ¬ 3 – 5+ years of sales and/or sales leadership experience ¬ Experience or education in marketing, advertising, management, business administration, communications or human resources ¬ Staffing industry experience a plus but not mandatory ¬ Knowledge of the creative industry a plus
