We have an immediate - temporary to permanent - opportunity for a rockstar CPG Production Artist. In this role, you'll be supporting the designers in ensuring the production aspects of the files are aligned for proper output. Your role will be a pivotal role in ensuring production quality upholds their client's brand integrity and standards.

Responsibilities

•Review job ticket instructions to determine requirements of job production. •Participate in planning meetings when necessary. - Must have experience interpreting technical drawings for packaging •Using appropriate software applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Esko) to perform electronic assembly functions preparing files for Digital production. •Proof output (HP inkjets or Color Lasers). •QC all work performed, following the department’s SOP’s. •Update the schedulers and Customer Service regarding job status. •When handing off jobs to co-workers, clearly communicate any information for them to complete the job. •Work OT when required. •Attend necessary Digital meetings when required or requested. •Assist in the development of written procedures as new clients and projects are added.

Requirements

Experience and Education Requirements: •Trade school certificate in Graphic Arts/Printing or equivalent experience. •Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Illustrator, Photoshop (CS Suite) producing electronic assembled files in a prepress environment; packaging file experience preferred.
