Permanent Assignment | Onsite | Cincinnati, OH

We have an immediate opening for a Communications Administrator full time onsite with our client. In this role, you'll assist management with the implementation of both external and internal communications both strategically and tactically. Specific duties include supporting websites, email communications, social media, and press releases. This is inclusive of writing and light graphical design duties. In this role, there will be extensive coordination with 3rd party vendors and providers. Familiarity working with governmental agencies is plus.

In this role there will be substantial independent work against multiple projects and timelines. The ability to self manage and hit deliverables is a requirement.

Responsibilities

- Press Releases
- Press Relations
- Newsletters and Email
- Website management
- Social Media management
-Is an active contributor to the planning and development public relations strategies, policies, and procedures
-Assists in creating and implements positive public relations strategies
-Assist in serving as spokesperson for the organization in daily as well as crisis situations
-Develops relationships and works with local media (print, radio and television)
-Assists in the coordination of external charitable campaigns and initiatives
-Supports and develops internal employee communications.

Requirements

- 4 year degree in communications, journalism or equivalent program
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines in a demanding environment
- Keen eye for quality control
- Thorough knowledge of modern office practices and procedures, business English, spelling and commercial arithmetic
- Knowledge of basic marketing concepts and techniques; thorough knowledge of the operations, functions, and scope development
- Ability to work independently and with initiative
- Be a team player
- Professional dress environment
