Creatives On Call is hiring a highly talented create HTML/CSS Web Developer to assist in the design and development of front end code within the Shopify/Squarespace platforms to support eCommerce needs. The HTML/CSS Developer will be responsible for creative, on brand design. This remote freelance opportunity will be ongoing as-needed. 

Responsibilities

• Work with developers to build and design custom websites.
• Offer direction and assist with various problem-solving tasks relating to Web development for HTML/CSS.
• Build responsive websites and apply modern techniques to optimize for mobile devices.
• Import content and assist in migrating data when applicable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Optimize sites for performance, SEO visibility, and security.
• Assisting with buildouts and taking websites live.

Requirements

• Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML and CSS.
• Experience with Shopify.
• Experience with SquareSpace.
• Experience working with debugging tools.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Good communication skills.
