The Director of Marketing and Communications will develop and execute marketing strategies to enable our client to achieve its vision of being the number one source for design talent in the U.S.

The Director of Marketing and Communications will:

  • Lead with a creative, strategic vision that aligns with the client's vision and goals
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish and execute the strategic plan
  • Develop a creative team that drives innovation, engagement, and enrollment
  • Direct strategic marketing strategy that drives business growth and elevates user experience
  • Execute and maintain campaigns for multiple residential and online certificate/degree programs and other products using market research, design, digital marketing, social media, web, public relations, events, and more
  • Generate sufficient inquiries through management of Google Ads account, landing pages, Facebook advertising, the website, recruitment campaigns, and other forms of marketing
  • Use data-focused approach to measure and report results of marketing plans and budgets through Google Analytics, LeadSquared, QuickBooks Online, and other sources
  • Explore and make continual strategic improvements to all marketing efforts
  • Deliver results including increased national awareness and growth

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain consistent brand image
  • Communicate the client’s mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and direct all branding, marketing, events, public relations, and communications
  • plans, initiatives, and budgets
  • Hire, train, manage, develop, and evaluate an outstanding professional staff
  • Build strategic partnerships with the Director of Admissions, Director of Financial Aid, faculty, staff, vendors, and other partners to enhance marketing efforts
  • Represent the client in the community as an articulate, enthusiastic, and visible spokesperson during events and functions both on and off-campus
  • Ensure marketing initiatives are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and fulfillment of client merchandise
  • Occasionally travel for recruitment, training, or campus visits
  • Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions
  • Meet professional development goals established by the client

Minimum Qualifications: Strong strategic, creative, communication, organizational, and leadership skills are required, as well as 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing and communications.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
