Our EVP of Client Services is seeking a highly motivated, adaptable and dependable Sales Support Specialist to assist in the opportunity development needs of our rapidly growing portfolio of business. The Sales Support Specialist must be a creative and results-driven thinker, an excellent problem solver and possess incredible interpersonal skills to effectively succeed in this highly visible role.

In this role, you’ll work exclusively for the EVP and assist the Client Services team on all aspects of development strategy, lead generation, deal flow, presentations, and on-going engagement management and facilitation. This is inclusive of executive administrative support activities and functions that aid in business development growth.

Responsibilities

- Support the EVP in the most strategic and timely aspects of their role
- Establish trusted relationships across the extended management team, i.e., C-suite leaders, key client leaders, etc., facilitating communication and serving as an extension of the EVP in staying connected to key leaders
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to take issues off of the plate of the EVP, resolving concerns and challenges and capitalizing on opportunities
- Track and keep the EVP and members of the extended leadership team apprised of progress on key priorities
- Work with the EVP on strategy implementation to build out business development infrastructure and process to enable transformation for business development growth
- Liaise and actively support in the development with corporate communications team on the internal and external communications on behalf of the EVP; attend as needed external events for support
- Prepare content, presentations and follow up to be used by the EVP for internal and external meetings
- Attend key leadership and planning meetings with the EVP and manage follow-up on commitments and action items
- Perform industry and market research to inform strategic direction
- Construct presentations and help prepare for new opportunities
- Identify gaps in our operation we haven't thought of, and jump in to fill them yourself
- Act as a project manager for key cross-functional efforts
- Attend meetings of the company's executive leadership and help organize and prioritize the EVP’s responsibilities
- Whatever you're called upon to do to have impact on the business development initiatives
