SENIOR MEDIA DESIGNERS - we are hiring for a designer that is exceptionally skilled and strategically effective in creating experiences, messages, and content through dynamic deliverables such as video and animated movies, 3D images/animations, VR and AR technologies, and web-based designs.

We're seeking solid team players who can continue to add value to a wide variety of projects by developing new skills across the organization.

Responsibilities

Fluently apply and teach Media Designers to understand and apply the brand mission,

vision, methods, and processes.

Collaborate with other staff across Design Studio disciplines, as well as members of Account,

Strategy, and Activation teams to create original solutions that work within the context of the

project background and objectives and bring to life aligned business and creative strategies.

Demonstrate ownership of your (and your team’s) tasks and deliverables by asking questions,

seeking clarity about team members’ role, and by delivering high-quality design solutions that are

thorough, on strategy, and on time. Assist Media Designers in acquiring and mastering these

skills.

Clearly articulate how the brand work fits project objectives and the desired design strategy,

including design work created by other colleagues across Design Studio disciplines.

Participate and begin to lead the presentation of your work to clients in collaboration with

Management and more senior Design, Account, and Strategy staff.

Capture design notes during briefings, reviews, and client presentations, to ensure clear direction,

sound design decisions, and effective problem solving. Disseminate notes and guidance among

colleagues and junior design staff as needed and beneficial.

Contribute to, and begin to lead the design of, projects across all stages from brainstorming

through execution, working collaboratively in cross-disciplinary teams.

Explore new design approaches, tactics and innovation across disciplines. Socialize innovations

among colleagues and Media team members.

Create designs, photos, videos, illustrations, 2D and 3D objects, and storyboards for various

media sources.

Understand form development and visual design language and use them in your designs.

Requirements

Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire to continuously improve.

Ability to accept criticism and creative direction, and to incorporate them into your work and workplace practices.

Develop the ability to provide constructive criticism to junior Design staff as appropriate, under the guidance of the Design Director and Senior Design Director.

Ability to work quickly, calmly, and under pressure while managing multiple projects and tasks to completion within established deadlines.

Assist Multimedia Designers in tasks and project needs.

Ability to quickly develop a high level of familiarity with our client’s audiences and business needs while determining the best methods to reach them in persuasive and inventive ways.

Ability to guide and mentor Multimedia Designers in understanding project goals and needs by conceptualizing (and executing) successful, goal-oriented design solutions.

Discipline to follow design templates adhere to visual identity guidelines, and implement consistency across a wide variety of media.

Ability to conceive, storyboard, and create innovative and effective visual storytelling experiences.

Ability to create and present materials that effectively communicate design concepts to clients, colleagues, and senior leaders and to assist Designers in acquiring and improving these skills.

Excellent use of typography, imagery, color, sound, and animation in creating innovative, strategy-based storytelling and design.

Maintain advanced knowledge of technical processes with a focus on multimedia formats and technology.

Additional Information

Bachelor’s degree in design or similar field.

4+ years of agency experience.

Traditional Illustration / Drawing skills

Expert Level Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, After Effects, and Premiere, including advanced codecs, plug-ins and expansions of core software capabilities.

Proficiency with sound-editing software such as Audition and Avid Pro.

Familiarity with 3D modeling and animation software such as Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, Maya

Familiarity with realtime engines is desirable.
