Creatives On Call is seeking a talented and experienced Creative Designer with a passion for data visualization to join our team for a temporary term. We are a creative agency that specializes in transforming research reports into compelling visual narratives. Our clients rely on us to distill complex data into clear and engaging presentations, and we're looking for a creative individual to help us tell these data-driven stories.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to analyze research reports and use them as a foundation for creative direction.
• Design and develop engaging PowerPoint presentations ranging from 15 to 60 slides, sometimes starting from templates and other times creating from scratch.
• Utilize your strong sense of design and expertise in data visualization to translate data, charts, and graphs into clear, visually appealing content.
• Implement white space effectively to enhance the readability and impact of presentations.
• Transform research summaries into captivating visual representations, ensuring that information is easy to digest.
• Work closely with clients, being able to communicate your design choices and ideas effectively.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and project budgets.
• Collaborate with the team using Microsoft Teams and work within the Microsoft Office/Outlook environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a mid-level designer with a focus on digital design and data visualization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in data visualization and PowerPoint design.
• Ability to work independently, make design decisions, and take ownership of projects.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• A knack for storytelling through PowerPoint, turning data summaries into engaging narratives.
• Flexibility to adapt to project variations and deliver high-quality work consistently.
• Client-facing experience is a plus.

Additional Information

• You will be provided with the entire project deck along with the allocated hours for each project.
• Expect a workload of 3-4 projects per week on average.
• This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave period.
• Work is expected to commence in October.
