Creatives On Call is currently seeking a skilled and experienced SQL Data Architect / Microsoft Power BI Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. This individual will play a crucial role in rebuilding and developing a new reporting system to manage sales professionals for a rapidly growing company that is expanding to 30+ markets in the next five years. The right candidate will also be responsible for implementing new functionalities and features to enhance the overall system.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement a new SQL-based reporting system to effectively manage sales professionals across multiple markets.
• Integrate and maintain data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making processes.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models for improved performance and efficiency.
• Implement new functionalities and features within the reporting system as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide ongoing support for the reporting system.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.
• Document system design, data models, and processes for future reference and maintenance.

Continuously research and stay up-to-date on industry best practices, new technologies, and trends to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of SQL, database design principles, and data modeling techniques.
4. Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including data visualization, dashboard creation, and report development.
5. Proficiency in data integration and ETL processes.
6. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
10. Experience in sales or a related industry is a plus.
