Strategy Copywriter -- Internal Employee Communications

Are you a storyteller passionate about translating business concepts into simple, compelling narratives through communications? Are you inspired by helping others connecting the dots between who we are and where we're going?

This person will partner closely with Employee Success (HR) to deliver impactful, integrated communications that educate Company executives and employees about key initiatives and inspire action. Success in this role is grounded in the ability to listen, question, and consult, ultimately translating complex information into crisp, clear communications formatted so that they are aesthetically easy for our audiences to navigate and consume.

You will help establish the narrative and translate that into amazing, on-brand communications. 


Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Work with partners to gather strategic input on messaging and positioning to ensure the narrative is engaging and aligned with our desired tone and values
  • Create messaging / narrative guides to organize the key messages, comms, content in a way that enables alignment for key stakeholders who may need to grab messaging
  • Write memorable, engaging communications across other internal channels as needed to drive awareness of key initiatives (including messaging docs, Slack comms, email comms, Quip / website copy, scripts, talk tracks / copy for presentations)
  • Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver a unified narrative
  • Strong writer who can help translate information into compelling narratives
  • Proven track record developing creative internal communications plans, messaging, and deliverables (including messaging docs, Slack comms, email comms, Quip / website copy, scripts, talk tracks / copy for presentations)
  • Comfortable working with design partners to ensure brand alignment across deliverables
