We are helping a fast-growing, Fortune 100 company headquartered in St. Louis find a motivated professional to help build out Business Process Documentation for various workflows within the organization. This position can be done 100% remote and will require someone that has the ability to work with little or no direction.
-Interview subject matter experts, read regulatory guidance and observe activities to become familiar with current processes
-Identify, analyze, organize, prioritize, and logically present complex information needs of stakeholders across multiple projects, functions, and sources
-Facilitate the development of standard internal templates for technical documents such as business process documentation and quick-reference guides
-Draft SOPs, Work Instructions, and supporting documents
-Recommend SOP/WI revisions, based on reported quality issues and identified areas of risk
-Compiling SOP's into department manuals and, if necessary, training documents.
-Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, related field, or equivalent experience.
-5+ years of technical writing or documentation design experience
-Attention to detail with the ability to copy information over accurately across different software programs
-Analysis skills -understand updates and apply those against future state expectations to capture necessary revisions
-Procedural writing -ability to write in a clear and concise manner that allows end-users to follow and complete their work
-Strong collaborative skills -understand the impacts of changes through strong partnerships with other business groups and consult/provide feedback for how to align those changes into their future state business processes/procedures/policies
-Autonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction
