Our client's Product Owner is a key member of the digital team, organizing and leading interactive

projects. The Product Owner is the layer that takes ideas from the client, account teams and creative

teams and works with the development team to make them a reality. The Product Owner works with

strategy, user experience, creative, account management, and the development team to develop the

project’s overall vision and break it down into buildable pieces. The Product Owner owns the backlog

for digital projects and maximizes the value of the development team’s work.

Responsibilities

x Work to build common language across stakeholder teams and the development team.

x Work across agency teams to build epics and user stories for digital projects.

x Manage the backlog for the projects you oversee and work with other Product Owners to

prioritize tasks maximizing the value of the development teams’ work.

x Work with the interactive team to develop and track digital scopes of work and project plans.

x Define feature and site requirements for digital projects.

x Anticipate project blockers and landmines, work proactively to avoid them.

x Develop and document the feature and site requirements of projects.

x Work as a bridge between the stakeholders and the development team by identifying the

client’s right requirements and helping the development team understand the stakeholders’

requirements.

x Review completed work for Quality Assurance before sending it to internal or external

stakeholders.

x Be responsible for ensuring that all relevant analytics are installed and pulled, and speak to

analytics for digital projects.

x Work with other teams to communicate known needed assets, their formats, and inspecting

finalized assets for development delivery.

x Facilitate client training sessions.

x Partner with development on the release schedule and track progress towards each release.

x Take the assignment detail, draw up a plan of execution, map out the project phases, and

who needs to be involved.

Requirements

x 2 years of Digital Project Management Experience.

x Experience in Product Ownership preferred.

x Experience working in Agile development preferred.

x Comfortable researching problems, facilitating, building consensus, and resolving issues.

x Comfortable with development projects, including a working knowledge of platforms and

development languages and processes.

x Is an amazing collaborator, open to new ideas, and great at helping others understand.

x Thrives under pressure, can stay organized and level while managing multiple projects and

workstreams.
