A global leader in consumer goods manufacturing for over 40 years based in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a skilled, full-time, temporary to permanent production artist to join the Art Department in creating varied marketing assets. Ideal candidate will be a driven production designer with a minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience. Must be organized, have a great positive attitude, a fast learner, detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to take direction.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in design, related field or equivalent training and experience.
  • Minimum 3 -5 years industry experience in graphic design and print production.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills; strong ability in prioritizing tasks
  • Excellent creative & layout skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Resourceful, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.
  • Work great in a team and independently.
  • Strong work ethic and passion to excel.

Requirements

  • Create layouts, graphics and production-ready artwork files using the Creative Suite in the Mac environment.
  • Follow timelines needed for all projects.
  • Learn internal processes quickly to log & track projects within BAM system.
  • Use approved templates and processes to ensure consistency.
  • Coordinate with the head of Creative and Marketing Director to assess design requirements and deliver results.
  • Multitask across a large variety of projects. 
  • Maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Work in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
  • Effectively communicate with different departments. 
  • Work with & follow up with vendors to ensure needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized production files, including fonts, images, logos, and other artwork.
  • Anticipate project challenges and provide practical solutions.
  • Participate in department meetings to discuss processes, project status etc.
  • Keep yourself updated with the latest graphics designing trends, programs, and techniques.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
