Virtual Learning & In-Person Event Facilitator

We are hiring an Event Planner/Facilitator who will be responsible for the logistical planning and execution of virtual and in-person programs.

This position will facilitate the logistics and technology for delivering quality and engaging learning experiences in virtual and in-person environments. 

Virtual programs include, but are not limited to live webinars, live-stream broadcasts, live virtual conferences and workshops, simulive programs, and hybrid programs that include a virtual component.

In-person events include, but are not limited to Mission, Ethics, and Sponsorship Programs.


Manage the development, collection, and curation of all post-program materials, including evaluation questions & responses; Certificates of Completion; registration data; program recordings and transcripts, etc. 

• Conduct briefings to share post-program evaluation and registration data with internal stakeholders. 

• Work with other Meeting Planners and staff as appropriate to coordinate in-person events that include virtual components. 

• Reconcile final invoices and approve payment

Support rapid response issues as necessary 

Stay abreast of new technologies and resources available to support the production of virtual programs and events that include both virtual and in-person components. 

Participate in ongoing training to advance virtual presentation knowledge


At least 2 years of experience in planning and implementing the delivery of live virtual learning programs.

Experience in Learning Management System platforms for the development of virtual learning content; experience in using BlueSky eLearn’s Path LMS is preferred.

Experience in onboarding and working with speakers and subject matter experts to use Webcasting platforms to deliver engaging virtual learning experiences. 2 years experience in in-person meeting planning or hospitality strongly preferred.

Additional Information

Exhibits strong project management skills, more specifically an ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for details.

A commitment to adult education and creating an innovative learning environment.

Proven ability to manage and host live events using Webcasting platforms, such as WebEx, Adobe Connect, GoToWebinar, Zoom and live streaming platforms, such as YouTube Live, Crowdcast, etc.

Proven ability to address technical issues/problems associated with Webcasting platforms. Demonstrated experience in working on multiple priorities consecutively and sequentially and meeting quality standards for accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness.

Ability to cultivate and maintain internal and external professional relationships.

Communicates clearly and effectively, both orally and written. Understanding of current and emerging learning technology.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an ability to learn new software with ease. Desire to learn meeting planning software tools such as Passkey or GroupAssist.
